IP Solutions Manager South East Asia
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this new position you are responsible for pre-sales of our clients sub-companies’ products within the clients business objectives. You report directly to the VP of Networks organization with a dotted line to local engineering management.
Key responsibilities
*
Provide high-level and detailed consultative solutions, product positioning, and pre-sales support for selected major account opportunities in Market Unit South East Asia.
*
Drive identified major account opportunities while allowing local account team to maintain long-term ownership of the customer.
*
Indirect responsibilities for selecting major accounts.
*
Prime technical contact for all pre-sales support.
*
Identifies & responds to technical/business needs with both company and client.
*
Provide pre-sales field integration of technology into solutions and products; Provide technical training, and product updates, to internal staff.
*
Continually gather product requirements and submit findings to Engineering and Product Management to drive business requirements.
Key requirements
*
BS/BA (EE/CS) degree or equivalent. MS (EE/CS) highly desirable; CCIE certification highly desirable.
*
8+ years related industry experience in both networking and telecommunications market segments.
*
Redback, Cisco or Juniper IP product knowledge and solutions positioning required - competitive product experience in Asia-Pacific market is required.
*
In-depth technology knowledge of and strong operating experience in more than one of the following solution areas: Broadband networks, IP Routing, Metro Ethernet, MPLS / ATM / FR, Security, xDSL/FTTx Access, 2G/3G Wireless Access, Multi-Service platforms, Wireless network components, Transmission Systems.

Technical understanding and conversant in: IP Networking technologies, solutions, telecommunications systems, wireless knowledge in the appropriate market segment(s).
*
Consulting or Systems Engineering skills with at least 3 years experience selling IP solutions to carriers, directly or indirectly.
*
Pre-Sales experience required.
*
Excellent partnering skills and be able to liaison internally. Ability to identify & qualify sales opportunities. Effective, team worker, leadership. Analyzing, problem solving skills.
*
Excellent English language written and verbal communica-tion, listening, negotiation and (technical) presentation skills.
*
Willingness to travel.
