PRODUCT MANAGER
Purpose
*
To formulate / build product strategies that maximize market opportunities
*
Increase overall product profitability (improved product margin, inventory management, improved sell-thru) while maintaining/enhancing brand equity.
*
Monitor / oversee product line execution and product management core process.
Key Result Areas
*
Applies an understanding of product, market, consumer, customer and competitor issues to develop annual product strategy.
*
Monitor & well-managed inventory, maximize margin, and increase sell-thru rate
*
A timely and robust product range analysis, leading to an efficient and fresh seasonal and core product range for every season
*
Analyze sales performance by revenue, margin & volume on a regular basis
*
Establish market understanding through market research and regular market visit to identify and act on new opportunities. Continually assesses how products fit with changing market needs.
*
Support advertising & promotion team in development of communication strategies by providing continuous inputs to ensure synergy between product and communication strategy.
*
Build knowledge and understanding of the retail environment.
*
Collaborate with sales team to identify and respond to trends in key accounts.
*
Competent, cohesive, and consumer focused team member supported by good management, planning, execution as well as coaching and mentoring skills.
Qualification & Experience
*
University graduate
*
1 year minimum experience as Product Manager/ Buyer/ Merchandiser
Additional Skills & Knowledge
*
Good in both written and spoken English.
*
Knowledge of MS Office application (especially Excel & Power Point application)
*
Fluent in both written and spoken English
*
Availability to have extensive traveling schedule
*
Coaching skills
*
Self-motivated
*
Interpersonal skills, as will work as a team
*
Capable to working under pressure and tight deadline
