Oracle DBA/Systems Analyst Post Date: 12 Jun 09Technical: Working knowledge on the below mentioned programming languages, database, application servers and operating systems required.

Required

ORACLE 10g, 9i
.Net, POWERBUILDER
Linux, Windows XP/2000/NT/98
ORACLE DBA and performance tuning
Analytical: Having experience in

Analyzing user requirements and converting them to system functions.
Ability to perform Database tuning for performane and setting DB parameters based on the requirements for performance improvement
Understanding and creating ER Diagrams
Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in the application/product development, deployment, maintenance and support function.
Should have minimum 2 years experience working as a DBA and perform DB tuning.
Experience in Linux Server installation/maintenance and Network and infrastructure maintenance
Experience in Media or Broadcasting domain will be advantage.
