Management and administration of GeoData Centre spatial data
Development of policies to ensure effective data management
Design and development of data models
Collect metadata and publish via Data Catalog
Spatial data analysis, as required
IT infrastructure support, as required
Work with provincial and district government agencies to build their capacity to use spatial information
Data administration training
Liaison between BRR and local government
Other duties as directed by Manager GeoData Centre
Reporting to : The Manager, SIM-Centre
Qualifications / Experience :
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, GIS or other relevant field or equivalent;
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience;
Proven experience managing and administering spatial databases;
Practical experience with ESRI GIS products and MS Access;
Experience with web mapping applications and geodatabases;
Understanding of SDI and OGC standards;
Understanding of Data Catalogs, preferable Geo Net work;
Ability to work with minimal supervision in multi-cultural environment;
Ability to write clearly and concisely in English;
Must be prepared to travel around north Sumatra.
Location: Banda Aceh
Duration: 12 months
